Inspiring Black Leaders

It’s time for action and accountability.
For real change to occur, we have to acknowledge privilege, bias, inaction and silent complicity that have led to our current situation. This entails more than hiring diversity. Make yourself aware of internal bias, be outspoken in the face of injustice, actively solicit meaningful input from all. Buy from companies that support diversity, work for companies with a commitment to diversity and inclusion and be an ally within your organization for diverse groups.
Already 2020 has been a year of massive social changes. Let's embrace a new normal, not only adjustments to the pandemic, but action for racial equality. To this end, we present a handful of black business leaders as examples of the multitudes of others like them who inspire inclusive, empathetic and forward-thinking leadership.

National Institute for Mentoring Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs (NIMBLE) is a 501(3)(c) corporation with a dual mission: 1) fill the educational gap for socio-cognitive skills, what we call the nimble mindset of innovative problem-solving, empathy and inclusiveness, a necessity for positive societal change and success in the 21st century and 2) broaden access to mentoring and education for entrepreneurs and emerging leaders, as young as high school age.
