This engaging, fun, hands-on week-long camp for teens runs from 9 am to 3 pm at Silicon Valley Community Foundation in Mountain View, CA and takes students from innovation inception to plan, culminating in a pitch competition. With guidance, students will develop concepts that improves their school, community or the world at large or launches a new product or service. Innovation Competition winner will be compensated up to $1000 for expenses related to the venture and receive mentorship for a year from NIMBLE. This exciting camp builds the successful mindset for work and life: creativity, empathy and problem-solving. Experiential skills in teamwork, self-assessment and communication are delivered in unexpected, fun ways such as improv, mindfulness and negotiation scenarios. Registration increases to $500 after March 15, 2018.
